ACS Unit Contact Information

The American Citizen Service (ACS) Unit welcomes inquiries relating to the services described on this website.  Please note that the ACS Unit is unable to answer questions about immigrant or nonimmigrant visas (please see below).  Separate ACS Units are maintained by the U.S. Consulates in Mumbai,  Chennai and Kolkata.

If you are an American citizen who wishes to obtain information about a nonimmigrant visa case (e.g., tourist visa, student visa, etc.), please write to nivnd@state.gov 

If you are an American citizen who wishes to obtain information about an immigrant visa case, please write to ivnd@state.gov 

If you are an American citizen interesting in filing an immigrant visa petition for an alien spouse or immediate relative in India, please write to cis.ndi@dhs.gov.  More information on services provided by U.S. Citizenship & Immigration Services (part of the Department of Homeland Security) is available at http://newdelhi.usembassy.gov/uscis.html.
