Statement by U.S. Ambassador David C. Mulford on the New Government

New Delhi -- I congratulate Dr. Manmohan Singh and all the ministers on being sworn in to India's new government. The United States and India have a strong bilateral relationship based on common democratic values and shared interests. I look forward to engaging with Prime Minister Singh and his Council of Ministers on a broad array of substantive issues that will strengthen and deepen our relations.
