Attention all nonimmigrant visa applicants from the Chennai consular district

NEW DELHI -- From April 19, 2007 all nonimmigrant visa applicants from the Chennai consular district can no longer book a visa appointment to have a visa interview at the U.S. Embassy, New Delhi. Applicants from the Chennai consular district who wish to apply for a visa should book their visa interview appointment through VFS (http://www.vfs-usa.co.in) and attend a visa interview at the U.S. Consulate General, Chennai. Note: BEP applicants from the Chennai consular district can still apply for a visa at the U.S. Embassy, New Delhi.
