| On February 10, 2008, over 3,000 women and men took part in a 5 kilometer "Walk for Life" in New Delhi, sponsored by leading Indian NGO CanSupport to raise awareness about breast cancer. | The United States Trade and Development Agency on February 7, 2008 awarded a grant to India's Binani Cement Limited that will incorporate efficient surface mining technology and practices in India for smaller mining concessions.
