Students and faculty of New Delhi's prestigious Jamia Millia Islamia joined in the celebration of rural America, organized at the university by SPAN magazine and the American Center February 26, 2008. Participants enjoyed a slide show and photo exhibit and a talk on life in small-town America. The evening concluded with a performance by the U.S. Embassy band, Heartland Express, playing American country and rock numbers. Yet another American Center program to strengthen people-to-people ties between the U.S. and India.  Full Size
