U.S. Secretary for Health and Human Services Michael O. Leavitt administers polio drops to a child at a municipal maternity and child center in New Delhi on January 11, 2008. The United States is one of the largest supporters of polio-eradication efforts in India. In 2007, the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services committed $2.3 million to polio-eradication efforts in India.U.S. Secretary for Health and Human Services Michael O.
