Who should apply?
This visa is for a foreign media representative who wants to go to the U.S. to work on behalf of a foreign media organization or a tourist bureau of a foreign government.

You must be a genuine representative of a foreign press, radio, film or other information medium having its home office in a foreign country or a duly accredited representative of a tourist bureau operated by a foreign government.

Spouse & Children
The spouse or children of a media representative are also entitled to accompany or join the holder of an I Visa. They should also apply for an I Visa.
