How Long Does it Take?
Almost 90% of approved applicants can pick up their passports within two days of their interview.  However, some applicants require administrative processing.  Most administrative processing is completed within 5 weeks; in some cases in can take longer.  

Please apply early!  It is not possible to determine in advance if you will need administrative processing, nor is it possible to expedite the processing. Therefore, the embassy bears no responsibility for travel arrangements or flight reservations made prior to the receipt of a visa.
