Fulbright Annual Conference in Jaipur March 17-19

NEW DELHI - The United States Educational Foundation in India (USEFI) will hold its annual Fulbright conference March 17-19, 2008, in Jaipur. The theme of this year's conference is "Once a Fulbrighter, Always a Fulbrighter."

More than 55 participants, including American Fulbright scholars in India, Nepal and Sri Lanka;  Fulbright alumni in India; and Fulbright Commission staff from India, Nepal, Pakistan and Sri Lanka, will attend the conference.

The conference will discuss the Fulbright mission of promoting mutual understanding, the work of Fulbright scholars now in South Asia, and encourage networking between current Fulbright scholars and alumni of the program.

The Fulbright Program, administered in India by USEFI, supports educational and cultural exchange between the people of the U.S. and other countries with the goal of promoting mutual understanding.
