U.S. Tourism Seminar at the American Center

New Delhi -- Representatives of key American travel and tourism companies participated in an interactive travel seminar at the American Center today which focused on U.S. destinations as top tourist attractions for Indian travelers in 2009. The United States hosted nearly 600,000 Indian visitors in 2008.
'Summer Vacation 2009: Destination USA' featured presentations by New York City, Las Vegas, San Francisco, Continental Airlines, Walt Disney World Resort, and the Marriott Hotels chain, among others. The presentations provided information on the latest offers, attractions, and exciting events that Indians vacationing in the United States in 2009 can enjoy. Embassy officials also explained the procedures for applying for U.S. visas.
