American Library Closed May 11-26 for Renovation

New Delhi -- The American Library at 24 Kasturba Gandhi Marg, New Delhi, will be closed from Monday, May 11 through Tuesday, May 26 for renovation. The newly refurbished library will reopen on Wednesday, May 27, 2009.
A familiar landmark located in the heart of New Delhi, the American Library has offered world class library and information services to hundreds of thousands of patrons for more than 60 years. It will be upgrading its unique collection of books and periodicals, as well as making cosmetic and security improvements, during the current refurbishment.
Books and DVDs can be returned at the front desk of the American Center during this period with no late-fee charge. For more information, please contact the Library at 2347-2111.
