U.S. University Alumni Fair at American Center June 22

NEW DELHI -- Indian graduates of U.S. universities and colleges and current students and the representatives of various American institutions of higher learning will be present for a special "Alumni Fair" to be held at the American Center in New Delhi on Friday, June 22. Admission to the Fair is open to the public and free of cost.
The Fair is a unique effort by the United States Educational Foundation in India (USEFI) to promote dialogue among students and young professionals about what it is like to live and study in the U.S. The alumni and other participants will provide first-hand information and insights to local students who are interested, but still undecided, about whether to apply to an American university or college.
The Fair will be held at the American Center, 24, Kasturba Gandhi Marg, New Delhi-110001 on Friday, June 22, 2007 from 12:30 to 5:30 p.m. Students aspiring to study in the U.S. are invited to attend the fair and take advantage of the opportunity to interact with alumni representatives.
Leading accredited U.S. institutions are participating in the Fair. They include Yale University, Berkley College, Purdue University, George Mason University, University of Texas, University of Wyoming, Rochester Institute of Technology, Golden Gate University, Stony Brook University, Kansas State University, University of Nebraska at Omaha, Bryant University and others. In addition, the U.S. Embassy will provide speakers to discuss the U.S. student visa application process and to respond to questions.
USEFI advising staff will be present at the fair venue to answer basic queries on U.S. higher education, including opportunities available through the Fulbright scholarship program.
