NEW DELHI - The United States Educational Foundation in India (USEFI), in collaboration with the Institute of International Education (IIE), Hong Kong, is organizing a U.S. University Fair in New Delhi on Saturday, October 15, 2005, 2:00 to 6:00 p.m. at Hotel Intercontinental, The Grand, Barakhamba Avenue. Admission is free.

Representatives from 21 U.S. universities will be participating in the Fair and will offer detailed information about their institutions and programs. American Express (Travelers Cheques Division) and Educational Testing Services in the U.S. are sponsoring the fair.

The participating universities represent a wide geographical area in the U.S. from Connecticut and New York in the east to Colorado and California in the west and offer a range of academic programs at undergraduate and graduate including doctorate levels.

Students can avail of one-on-one sessions with admissions officers and get reliable and authentic information about their programs.

Even though students will not be offered on-the-spot admissions, information and guidance provided by the university representatives will help students make "informed" choices of the colleges and the programs through the parallel session throughout the fair hours. Students may also be able to collect application forms, view books and other materials from these institutional representatives.

USEFI will have its information booth and will distribute a fair guide containing detailed information on participating universities and many other institutions in the U.S.
