Revision of the Schedule of Fees for U.S. Consular Services

NEW DELHI -- Effective Wednesday, November 16, 2005 the United States consular sections in India have adjusted the exchange rate used for consular transactions from Rs. 44 to Rs. 46 to the dollar.
  
The revised fees are as follows: Nonimmigrant Visa Application fee Rs. 4600 ($ 100); Visa Issuance fee, except for students, Exchange visitors, transit and crewman Rs. 2300 ($ 50); L-1 (Fraud Prevention Fees for Blanket Petitions) Rs. 23000 ($500); Immigrant Visa fees Rs. 15410 ($335); and Returning Resident Visa Application fee Rs. 18400 ($400).
