Interview Appointment Schedule
Immigrant Visa Appointments
Effective December 23, 2013, all immigrant visa applicants must complete the DS-260 online immigrant visa application at https://ceac.state.gov/ceac and login to http://www.ustraveldocs.com/in to schedule an appointment at Visa Application Center(VAC) for biometric fingerprint and photograph collection prior to their Embassy or Consulate appointment. Failure to follow these new procedures will significantly delay visa processing.
The immigrant visa appointment schedule is posted for the current month by approximately the 15th of the previous month. Simply click on one of the links below. If you do not find your case now, please check back after we have posted the next month's appointments. If your appointment appears on the interview schedule but have not yet received an appointment letter within 3rd week of every month of your appointment, you may request a duplicate appointment letter by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org. Applicants need appointment letters to attend medical examinations and to enter the Embassy for their interviews. If you are waiting for your appointment letter to arrive, you may begin preparing for your interview by downloading the appropriate appointment packet.
Instructions on preparing for the interview are available on on our website.
Important: Please note, if we are unable to interview you at the Embassy on a given day for administrative reasons or for circumstances beyond our control, then you will receive a call/email directly from the Embassy requesting you to appear at the Embassy on another day. We request your cooperation in such instances.
