Hours of Operation

Nonimmigrant Visas

The visa section of the U.S. Embassy, New Delhi, U.S. Consulate General, Chennai, and U.S. Consulate General, Mumbai conduct nonimmigrant visa interviews, by appointment only, from 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., Monday through Friday.

The visa section of the U.S. Consulate General, Kolkata conducts nonimmigrant visa interviews, by appointment only, from 8:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., Monday through Friday.

Immigrant Visas

The visa section of the U.S. Embassy, New Delhi, U.S. Consulate General, Chennai and U.S. Consulate General, Mumbai conduct immigrant visa interviews, by appointment only, from 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., Monday through Friday.

The visa section of the U.S. Consulate General, Kolkata conducts walk-in immigrant visa interviews from 8:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m., Monday through Friday.
